As part of the closure of Captured Weddings, we’re required to contact previous clients regarding the remaining files we hold and their upcoming deletion.

This month, we’re beginning the permanent clearance of original files relating to completed wedding projects.

Your finished photographs and films are unaffected, and your online gallery will remain available for two years from its original delivery date.

In addition to your completed films, our archive contains original source footage captured on your wedding day, including material that wasn’t used within your final edits.

Before this material is permanently removed, we’re providing a final opportunity to decide what happens to your remaining archive.

Your Archive Options

  • Take ownership of the footage remaining in your wedding archive.

    We’ll prepare your original source footage for release, converting professional camera files into an accessible format and applying a light colour grade where required.

    Your footage will then be organised, uploaded to a private transfer platform and released to you together with an assignment of Captured’s rights in the supplied material.

    • Retrieval and preparation of your remaining archive

    • Conversion from professional acquisition formats where required

    • Light colour grade of LOG/flat footage

    • Organisation of individual video files

    • Private digital upload and transfer

    • Formal transfer of Captured’s rights in the supplied footage

    Once transferred, responsibility for the ongoing storage and backup of these files passes to you.

  • Turn the footage remaining in your archive into a complete record of your wedding day.

    Rather than receiving the individual source files, our editors will return to your original footage and create one final, extended film.

    Included:

    • Full review of your remaining wedding footage

    • Chronological documentary edit

    • Ceremony and speeches incorporated in full

    • Additional moments from throughout the day

    • Professional colour grade and audio treatment

    • Final film delivered in 4K

    Final duration and content will vary depending on the footage originally captured and the coverage included within your wedding collection.

  • Allow your remaining archive to be permanently removed.

    If you do not wish to retain your original wedding footage or have anything further created from it, no action is required.

    Your source files will be permanently deleted during the archive clearance and will not be recoverable afterwards.
